09/26/06 Katherine gave excellent interviews on The Early Show and Today Show this morning. As you can imagine, the hosts on both shows were amazed that she survived that horrific accident. She told how all her bits and pieces were still intact, and that her insides felt like a washing machine during the incident. She said that Champ Car builds a very strong race car, and that the Safety and Medical teams do a fantastic job. Katherine said if her crew could have repaired the car, she would have liked to have finished the race! She's looking forward to racing next month in Australia. She explained Ford Motor Company's Warriors in Pink program to promote breast cancer awareness month. She was an excellent ambassador for Champ Car.
