Axed Villeneuve revs-up singing career

(GMM) Dumped BMW-Sauber driver Jacques Villeneuve made a surprise appearance at a Canadian festival last weekend.

The former world champion, who earlier this year released his debut music single 'Accepterais-tu?', performed the song as a duo with French-Canadian pop singer 'Garou'.

35-year-old Villeneuve and his wife are currently holidaying in the region, where the event – part of the 'International Balloon Festival' in his home town of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec) – attracted some 60,000 spectators.
