Seen in Edmonton

Paul Page is in the Champ Car paddock this morning in Edmonton. He is working for Global, the big national Canadian network TV station…..A whole slew of Edmonton fans are going ga-ga over seeing the Champ Cars, many for the first time in real life….The sky is overcast but so far dry. Forecast is for 80 percent chance of showers Saturday, but better weather for Sunday…..They have proper grandstands here – large, high and a proper steepness so fans can see well, unlike the flat Mickey Mouse bleachers we see at some events…..Roger Peart is here doing his track inspection. Roger is the President of ASN, Canada's equilvalent of ACCUS, and is also the FIA President of Circuits worldwide. We shared a drink with Roger last evening and he gave us some insight to a number of F1 rumors, including what really happened at the USGP. More later….
