Pole sitter Stewart leaves “Swagger” on the track

Morning practice for Sunday's Pennsylvania’s 500 came to an abrupt end for pole sitter Tony Stewart as he wrecked his Old Spice Swagger Chevrolet on just his second lap in turn 3 of Pocono's tricky triangle. Stewart will start the race in his backup car and will need to start the race from the back of the field. Not to worry, Stewart started 43rd for the June race in Pocono and won the race.

Stewart's accident was a single car mishap, “I just…I screwed up. I got in too deep and got loose and couldn’t save it." said Stewart after the crash "I tore up a really good race car today." Frank R. reporting from Pocono
