Denver ticket sales up, way up

According to Jim Freudenberg, GM of the Denver event, advance ticket sales are triple last year’s event, which announced a three-day attendance of 112,000. Reports say that some of Cleveland's Mickey Mouse high school bleacher seats are being used by Denver. Pathetic

Why is it that the Canadians (Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton) and Mexicans (Monterrey and Mexico City) can build decent temporary seats that are high off the ground and steeply raked, while USA races use substandard bleacher seats? USA tracks should hire the Canadian contractors and send the Americans and their pathetic grandstands packing.

Although they lacked seat backs, the grandstands in Edmonton at least are high and steeply raked.
