Camara wins pole in Nashville

In SWE Race Car Parts Pole Qualifying for the Menards Infiniti Pro Series, Jaime Camara claimed the pole with a fast lap of 179.062 mph (26.1362 seconds) on the 1.33-mile concrete tri-oval. Travis Gregg, the final driver to make a qualifying attempt, put the No. 7 Lucas Oil Products/Sam Schmidt Motorsports entry alongside his teammate with a lap of 178.864 mph.

It was the eighth time teammates swept the front row in Menards Infiniti Pro Series history, and the 15th pole for Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Series points leader Wade Cunningham (177.858 mph) and Arie Luyendyk Jr. (177.063) will occupy Row 2.

Qualifying Friday for the Cleanevent 100 IRL Menards Infiniti Pro Series event on the 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway, with starting position, car number in parentheses, driver, chassis-engine and speed:
