Some big names to run in the Rolex 24

Our sources are telling us that Rubens Barrichello will be running in the Rolex 24 this year with AJ Allmendinger, Tony Kanaan and another as yet unknown driver, for Michael Shank racing. It looks like Shank's team is not the only one pushing hard for the win, as there are other teams that are stacking their deck with big name drivers. Jimmy Johnson will be running with the Gainsco team again with Vasser, Gurney and Fogarty. You can also expect many other recognizable NASCAR, Indy, and F1 names announced between now and race day.

We may not be the biggest fans of the cars, and they have yet to produce any kind of crowds or TV ratings, but we will say that the competition and drivers are top notch. This year's Rolex 24 should be a good watch.
