Combining IPS and Toyota Atlantic

Hand-in-hand with discussion that the IRL might merge with Champ Car is the issue of the support series. Toyota Atlantic this year has over 20 cars and IPS averages around 12. Combined they would yield 30 car fields, which would be fantastic as a feeder series. The question is who would supply the engines – Toyota, Infiniti or Cosworth. Probably not Toyota because they no longer want to sponsor the series, just be an engine supplier. We could see a Cosworth engine badged by Infiniti or another manufacturer with some direct link to the "tuner" market.
