PanAmerican Series drawing big interest

Rumor has it that the new PanAmerican appears to be the right formula at the right time for a North American Open Wheel Racing development series. We hear they already sold 50% of the available 1-year old Renault V6 cars being refurbished by the Renault factory and they already have15 entries for FR2000. Once all the refurbished cars are spoken for, teams will have to purchase all-new units from Renault-Sport. The PanAmerican Series was just announced this past weekend at the Autosport show in the UK and the fact that they already have this sort of interest indicates a very positive start indeed. Mark C.
