Possible ’05 calendar changes

Formula Superfund's non-championship race at the Lausitzring in Eastern Germany next year, could be awarded points-scoring status after some changes to the calendar were leaked this week. In addition, a second oval race could be added to the calendar, with a race taking place at Rockingham in the UK. Negotiations with the circuit are said to be ongoing, although a final decision is expected later this month. An earlier plan by the Italian F3000 championship to visit Rockingham, and race on the infield circuit is thought to have been dropped. There is still no confirmation on which French circuit Formula Superfund will race in its final unconfirmed calendar date next season, although there is growing speculation that it will be the street circuit at Pau.
