The 10 most-valuable F1 teams earned a combined $1.7B in 2011, “aided greatly by sponsorships," according figures compiled by FORBES magazine. Team Ferrari, which occupies the top spot with a value of $1.15B, “spent $165 million more than it won in races" during the ’11 season — “yet it pulled in an additional $250 million from its eager-to-advertise pals."
