Donoso to drive Genoa’s #36 in the Freedom 100

Genoa is pleased to announce that Firestone® Indy Lights™ veteran Pablo Donoso will be piloting the 36 car in the Freedom 100. From Santiago, Chile, Pablo has competed and won in South America, Europe, and the United States in Formula Renault, Formula BMW, World Series, Star Mazda, USAC Silver Crown, Indy Lights, and he’s tested an IndyCar with AJ Foyt. In 2008, he started Milwaukee from pole and he won at Infineon.

Know primarily as a worldwide leader in the export of fine wine and copper, Chile recently recognized Pablo as a national hero for his international exploits in professional car racing, naming him “Auto Racing Sportsman of the Year". Chile is a long (2700 miles long … the distance from San Francisco to New York City!), narrow country in South America, bordered by the Pacific Ocean, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina.

Joining Pablo for the Freedom 100 are team sponsors Brandwidth, Pierce Jewelers, and Express Medical Records. Brandwidth is an Indianapolis based integrated marketing firm, www.brandwidth.com. Pierce Jewelers, located in Carmel, Indiana, is known for its handcrafted fine jewelry and for its watchmaker, Buddy Pierce (www.piercejewelers.com). Express Medical Records is a nationwide legal documentation and record retrieval service, www.expressmr.com.

Mark Olson states, "Having previously worked and vacationed throughout Latin America, I really love the passionate fan base that Pablo brings to the table. What a huge honor and burden of responsibility he carries with him to represent his nation on this international stage. At every level of motorsports, he’s demonstrated that when given the proper opportunity, he can capitalize with a great result. After losing our primary driver mid-season, I’m very grateful for the way Pablo has stepped up for us here at the Freedom 100. It’s also been tremendous working with the folks at Brandwidth, Pierce Jewelers, and Express Medical Records. I’m looking forward to a strong result at Indy!"
