Massa has pilot’s license
(GMM) Ferrari driver and back to back grand prix winner Felipe Massa revealed this week that he recently obtained his pilot's license.
Before traveling to Monaco, where on Wednesday he posed in pit lane with his teammate Kimi Raikkonen and F2007 racer, the 26-year-old Brazilian stopped off in Geneva for an appearance with his personal sponsor Piaggio Aero — an Italian aircraft manufacturer.
"I have a pilot's license and I fly the Ferrari team's Avanti II at least once a week if my schedule allows it," he told the Flight Evening News magazine on his visit to the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE).
The Avanti II is a twin-engine business aircraft that is built by Piaggio Aero.
