MotoGP News: Marc Marquez dominates feature race at Aragon
Marc Marquez dominated the 2025 Aragon MotoGP, extending his title lead after a perfect weekend at a track where he took his first Ducati victory a year ago at Motorland Aragon.
Marquez dominated the whole weekend, topping every single session, including winning the pole and the sprint race. It was the first time a rider has done this since marc himself did it in 2015.
After a strong start compared to his poor start in the Sprint race on Saturday, Marquez paced himself in the early stages. Younger brother Alex Marquez tried to keep the pressure on the six-time MotoGP champion, but by mid-distance, but Marc Marquez was just managing the gap and always in control.
To prove that point, Marquez set the fastest lap after fastest lap before taking the checkered flag in front of the 50,000 crowd.
Defending World Champion Francesco Bagnaia took the final place on the podium spot in third. The two-time MotoGP champion tried to pass Alex Marquez but ran out of talent and decided to play it safe.
