F1 News: 100-Day Countdown For F1 Heineken Las Vegas GP

Actor, entertainer and Formula 1® fan Terry Crews and F1 ACADEMY™ driver Nicole Havrda helped kick off the 100-day countdown to FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GP 2025 with a fan-filled celebration at GP Plaza yesterday.

The high-energy event featured appearances by the celebrity duo, a $100,000 community grant presentation, the debut of a 15-foot Las Vegas GP-branded slot machine, a 100-vehicle car show, the launch of the 2025 merchandise collection, and the release of new single-day tickets. The Las Vegas Strip also lit up with a coordinated marquee takeover marking the milestone.

100-Day Countdown Highlights:

  • Terry Crews Supports Plus Meet and Greets with F1 ACADEMY Driver Nicole Havrda. Building on his enthusiasm from last year’s Las Vegas GP, Terry Crews showed his genuine passion for Formula 1 with a dedicated social media push on his own channels. In his posts, he invited fellow celebrities, friends, and fans to join him at this year’s race. F1 ACADEMY™ driver Nicole Havrda met and mingled with fans throughout the event.
  • Slot Machine Spin-to-Win Activation. Guests lined up to spin a larger-than-life, 15-foot interactive Las Vegas GP-branded slot machine where every spin was a win. Prizes ranged from stickers, keychains, merchandise and F1® X and F1® DRIVE tickets all the way to single-and three-day race tickets. The slot machine will remain active at F1® HUB from Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17, from noon to 8 p.m. daily.
  • $100,000 Grant Presentation. Las Vegas GP awarded a total of $100,000 to five local nonprofit organizations, each receiving $20,000 to support their missions. More than 300 nominations were submitted through a public call inviting locals to suggest deserving Southern Nevada nonprofits. The grant winners include Nevada SPCA, SHARE Village Las Vegas, Three Square, Mondays Dark/The Space 2.0 and Communities in Schools of Nevada.
  • 100 Nights Until Lights Out Car Show. Presented with Las Vegas Car Meets, a 100-vehicle car show was staged along the pit lane and into Turns 1 and 2. Guests enjoyed photo ops with the Las Vegas GP show car, live music from the Las Vegas GP DJ Helmet Truck and family friendly activities. Highlights included contests for Low Car Limbo, Best in Class, and Best in Show, along with a scavenger hunt, kids’ coloring station, and food and drinks from GP Plaza’s sleek dining destination, Fuel & Fork.
  • Free Entry to F1® X All Day. Fans received complimentary access to F1® X, the immersive 4D racing experience featuring legendary F1 artifacts, iconic cars, and interactive exhibits.
  • 2025 LVGP Merchandise Collection Drop. The all-new 2025 Las Vegas GP merchandise collection launched during the event and is now available for purchase at F1 Hub at GP Plaza.
  • Single Day Tickets Launch. Single-day tickets for the 2025 race are now available to the public at F1LasVegasGP.com.

  • Strip Marquee Takeover.
    To cap the celebration, the Las Vegas Strip lit up with 100-day countdown messages across marquees at Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts, Sphere, Wynn, Virgin Hotels and Hilton Grand Vacations properties.
