Formula 1 News: 2026 Spanish GP at MADRING tickets sales red hot

The 2026 Spanish Grand Prix, set to take place in Madrid at the MADRING from September 11 to 13, 2026, has had the best possible start. From September 15, when the pre-sale opened, until September 23, more than 48,500 tickets were sold. In fact, just yesterday, when general sales opened, more than 20,000 tickets were sold in only 12 hours.

Ticket prices started at €195 for the general admission “peluse” area and €324 for the grandstand section. Both categories sold out within minutes.

Sales continue in parallel with the construction of the circuit.

The Spanish GP projected worldwide

The ticket launch campaign reached every corner of the globe. Coinciding with the general sales opening, a spectacular 3D video promoting the Formula 1 Tag Heuer Spanish Grand Prix was displayed on the giant screens of Times Square, the Burj Khalifa, Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, and on 8 screens across Mexico City.

An overwhelming success that captured the attention of international audiences: 23% of total sales come from abroad. Among them, the United Kingdom leads with 4%, showing that one of the most knowledgeable and deeply rooted F1 fan bases considers the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid an attractive event. Next comes Mexico with 3%, proof of the strong connection between Latin fans and the Spanish-speaking community. In third place is the United States with 2.5% of sales, a booming market where Formula 1 now boasts three races.

Because MADRING is not only attractive for its unique 5.4 km layout with 22 turns. Its connection with Madrid—a European capital with an unmatched cultural and gastronomic offering—together with its lifestyle, its “tardeo” (late-afternoon social tradition), and its excellent accessibility with both the airport and the city, make it a date already marked in red for F1 fans worldwide.
