Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber unveils “Final Lap” livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Under the bright lights of Las Vegas, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber has unveiled its third and final special Stake design of the 2025 season: the “Final Lap” livery – a striking design crafted to celebrate momentum, performance, and the journey shared with Stake over the last three seasons.
Debuting exclusively at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, “Final Lap” is a striking visual tribute inspired by the thrill and emotion of Formula 1’s most iconic symbol — the checkered flag. Reimagined in motion, sweeping checkered elements twist across the car’s bodywork as if captured mid-wave at the finish line. These dynamic patterns flow seamlessly into deep black carbon textures and are punctuated by the team’s signature electric green, resulting in a kinetic, confident look that feels fast, alive, and unmistakably at home under Vegas’ neon glow.

More than just a bold aesthetic, the design symbolizes the team’s upward trajectory across the 2025 season: a celebration of the relentless work in Hinwil, the progress seen on track, and the passion of fans who live for those decisive, heart-pounding final moments of a Grand Prix.
“Las Vegas is a race that thrives on spectacle, energy and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, which is exactly what this livery represents,” said Jonathan Wheatley, Team Principal of Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber. “The ‘Final Lap’ design is bold, loud and confident. It captures the spirit of a team fighting its way forward and celebrating every milestone along the way. It’s a fitting tribute to our journey with Stake and a powerful send-off as we approach the end of the season.”
Throughout their partnership, Stake and Sauber have brought an unapologetically fresh and creative energy to the Formula 1 grid. “Final Lap” now completes Stake’s trio of special liveries for the 2025 season, serving as both a finale and a symbol of progress. As part of a collaboration defined by innovation, ambition, and the courage to be different, ‘Final Lap’ represents everything this partnership stands for – the drive to push limits and create memorable moments together.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the only race to feature the “Final Lap” design, giving fans a one-race-only spectacle in the most special of settings.
