Supercars News: Feeney wins Saturday in Adelaide, title to be decided on Sunday
Red Bull Ampol Racing Team’s Chevrolet ace Broc Feeney (pictured) will enter the final day of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship holding a 23-point lead over Chaz Mostert after a dramatic race in Adelaide today.
The Gold Coast youngster won today’s race at the BP Adelaide Grand Final, his 14th victory of 2025 — and, importantly, extended his slim points margin over Ford’s Mostert before Sunday’s final race of the year.
It was Feeney’s 26th career race win, ahead of Mostert who claimed second, while his teammate Ryan Wood finished third today.

Mostert threw everything at the race after starting from 12th position and fought his way through, hitting everything but the dance floor on his way to a podium finish.
He passed teammate Wood on the final corner, which could be critical in the points standings tomorrow. Had Wood held his spot in second, Mostert would be trailing Feeney by 32 points on Sunday.
The race itself was filled with drama. Rookie Aaron Cameron, a surprise front-row starter in the Blanchard Racing Team Mustang, skipped to an early lead but was the first to crash out on Lap 7.
At the front, the four grand finalists — Feeney, Mostert, defending champion Will Brown and rookie Kail Allen — traded places and strategies, trying to gain as many points as they could to keep their championship hopes alive.
Feeney made an incredible passing move for the race lead on Wood on Lap 51, which could prove critical in deciding this year’s championship.
Mostert went off onto the grass after running wide at the final corner and, when trying to fight back for his position with Thomas Randle, collided with Randle’s Mustang and went onto the grass at high speed.
He managed to keep his Mobil 1 Optus Ford on track and fought his way through to finish second behind Feeney. Brown finished fourth today, and Allen finished fifth.
Tomorrow’s result will decide the 2025 champion.
Feeney leads Mostert by 23 points, Brown by 76 points and Allen by 88 points heading into the final Sunday race of the year.
