Formula 1 News: Cadillac F1 Team Secures IFS as Official Technology Partner Ahead of 2026 Grid Debut

The collaboration, revealed on January 7, 2026, positions IFS as Cadillac’s official technology partner, embedding its enterprise software deeply into the team’s operations. IFS, known for its expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Field Service Management (FSM), will support critical functions including finance, procurement, supply chain, production, quality management, inventory, and engineering.
Remarkably, the phased rollout of IFS systems began even before Cadillac’s formal approval to join Formula 1, starting with core financial and procurement tools. This early adoption has allowed the team—the first new entrant since Haas in 2016—to scale rapidly while adhering to F1’s stringent cost cap and technical regulations.
Tyler Epp, Global Head of Commercial Strategy for the Cadillac F1 Team, highlighted the partnership’s foundational role: “IFS has been instrumental in helping us launch the first new team to enter Formula 1 for over a decade. We implemented it early on—before entry was confirmed—to establish best practices, manage complexity, and accelerate innovation. From supply chain to engineering, it’s enabling smarter decisions so we can focus on building a competitive car and delivering on-track results.”
IFS CEO Mark Moffat echoed the excitement, noting the synergy between the high-stakes worlds of F1 and industrial software: “Formula 1 is where milliseconds matter, and technology decides winners. By integrating IFS into Cadillac’s operations, we’re providing agility, resource optimization, and performance boundaries-pushing capabilities. We’re proud to support them technically and through brand activations.”
Beyond operational support, the deal includes prominent IFS branding on team assets, such as the race cars, driver suits, and official apparel—offering high-visibility exposure in one of motorsport’s most demanding environments.
With drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez set to lead the charge—backed by reserve Zhou Guanyu and test driver Colton Herta—the partnership underscores Cadillac’s commitment to data-driven precision as it prepares for its debut season under new 2026 regulations. This alliance not only bolsters backend efficiency but also showcases how advanced software can thrive in extreme, real-time conditions, potentially giving the newcomers an edge in their bold F1 venture.
The IFS brand will feature on Cadillac’s livery, race suits, and apparel.
