NASCAR News: Joe Gibbs Racing Announces Zep Sponsorship for 2026
In a move that bolsters its lineup of national brands, Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) has officially announced a new partnership with Zep, a leading provider of maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation solutions, for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. This collaboration marks an expansion for Zep in NASCAR, building on its previous involvements with drivers like Ty Gibbs and Chase Briscoe recently.

Under the agreement, Zep will serve as the primary sponsor for two key races. The brand will adorn Ty Gibbs’ No. 54 Toyota Camry XSE during the event at Kansas Speedway on April 19, 2026. Later in the season, Zep will take center stage on Chase Briscoe’s No. 19 Toyota Camry XSE at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on August 23, 2026. Beyond these primary spots, Zep will appear as an associate sponsor across three JGR entries throughout the entire 2026 campaign: Gibbs’ No. 54, Briscoe’s No. 19, and Christopher Bell’s No. 20 Toyota.
Zep, with nearly 90 years of history in delivering high-performance cleaning products, sees this partnership as a natural fit with JGR’s legacy of excellence. Greg Heyer, Executive Vice President of Retail Sales and Marketing at Zep, expressed enthusiasm about the deal: “Zep is excited and grateful to be partnering with JGR this coming season. We both have a legacy of winning products that perform, and a focus on customer satisfaction and innovation. We know that this JGR partnership will further our growth strategy focused on brand awareness, product adoption, and building a stronger, loyal customer base in all areas that we provide cleaning solutions.”
For the drivers, the sponsorship carries personal significance. Chase Briscoe, who enjoyed a breakout 2025 season with three wins and a third-place points finish while previously partnered with Zep at Stewart-Haas Racing in 2024, shared his thoughts: “It is great to be reunited with Zep over at JGR. I have a great relationship with those guys, and they have always been supportive of my career, so I’m excited to have them on the car this year.” Ty Gibbs, entering his fourth full-time Cup Series season after prior associations with Zep, added: “Having Zep on the car at Kansas and throughout the year will be really cool. I’m looking forward to them joining JGR and getting to know the team there.”
This sponsorship follows Zep’s recent NASCAR ventures, including primary backing for Noah Gragson in two events during the 2025 season and earlier ties with Briscoe and Gibbs at other teams. For JGR, a powerhouse with over 200 Cup Series victories and multiple championships, adding Zep underscores the team’s ongoing appeal to innovative brands looking to leverage the excitement of stock car racing. Fans can expect vibrant paint schemes and increased visibility for Zep as the 2026 season unfolds, starting with the primary appearances in April and August.
