Track News: Circuit of the Americas crowned F1 Race Promoter of the Year
Circuit of The Americas (COTA) has today been crowned Formula 1 Race Promoter of the Year at The Race Media Awards, presented at a gala ceremony in London, UK.
COTA topped a highly competitive category, with the award recognizing not only its achievements over the past 12 months but also its sustained success since debuting in 2012. In honoring COTA, The Race Media Awards cited its feat in “establishing itself in F1 without losing its essence and hosting other racing series.”
Bobby Epstein, Chairman and Founder of Circuit of The Americas was delighted to receive this prestigious award, commenting: “A great event only becomes one if the fans make it so. Their energy from a Grand Prix weekend carries us through the year and inspires us to work to make each event better than the one before. This recognition by The Race Media Awards goes to our fans, friends, and employees who come together to create a fun environment and wonderful memories.”
In 2025, COTA hosted Formula 1, MotoGP, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and more, with the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix continuing to set the gold standard for global race promotion. A proven favorite of drivers and fans alike, COTA once more welcomed hundreds of thousands of fans from all 50 states and around the world to Austin in October for three days of full-throttle racing and spectacular live music on its iconic Super Stage, featuring unforgettable performances by Kygo and Garth Brooks.
That momentum continued when COTA confirmed a new five-year agreement with the pinnacle of motorsport, securing the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix through 2034.
Since its debut, the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at COTA has risen to become one of the premier events on the Formula 1 calendar—a three-day, all-out American showcase of speed, sound, and spectacle that drives major economic impact for Texas and has played a defining role in establishing and accelerating Formula 1’s explosive growth across the United States.
COTA is now gearing up to go even bigger and better in 2026, setting its sights on another record-breaking Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in October.
