The unveil took place at Distillery Road Market in Eagleby, near the team’s Yatala headquarters, showcasing a vibrant orange-and-blue scheme for Le Brocq’s #4 Chevrolet Camaro and a refreshed matte light blue look for Bates’ #10 entry. This marks a fresh chapter for the team, with significant off-season investments in personnel and a revamped driver lineup aimed at building on recent successes.
Founded in 2011 by team owner Matt Stone, MSR has grown from its roots in developing Australian racing talent to becoming a competitive force in Supercars. The Gold Coast outfit, supported by family ties to Stone Brothers Racing, has claimed titles in Dunlop Super2 Series, Touring Car Masters, and V8 Utes, while securing race wins in each of the past three Supercars seasons. For 2026, MSR continues its Chevrolet Camaro program, bolstered by a multi-year partnership with Everything Fleet and internal restructures to enhance performance.

Driver Lineup: Experience Meets Emerging Talent
Jack Le Brocq returns to MSR after a two-year stint at Erebus Motorsport, where he honed his skills before rejoining the team that delivered his breakthrough victory at Hidden Valley in 2023—the squad’s first Supercars win. The 31-year-old will pilot the #4 Sherrin Rentals Camaro, a homecoming that team owner Matt Stone describes as pivotal for the organization’s growth.
Rookie Zach Bates, the 2024 Super2 Series champion, steps into the main game full-time after replacing Nick Percat in the #10 car. The 20-year-old impressed with wildcard appearances in 2025, including a top-10 finish at the Bathurst 1000 alongside motorsport legend Craig Lowndes. Bates’ promotion underscores MSR’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
To support the new pairing, MSR has promoted from within: Oli Boone takes on race engineering duties for Le Brocq’s #4, while Caleb Mutsaerts continues with Bates’ #10. This internal focus aims to provide “foundational stability” for immediate results.
Livery Details: Bright and Bold for the New Season
Le Brocq’s #4 boasts a dynamic orange-and-blue design sponsored by Sherrin Rentals, which returns full-time after backing a wildcard effort in 2025. Tyrepower, a familiar name from Le Brocq’s Erebus days and MSR’s early 2024 campaign with Cameron Hill, features prominently, adding red accents to the scheme.

Bates’ #10 Bendix Racing Camaro retains its signature light blue base but with subtle tweaks and a matte finish for a modern edge. Braking specialist Bendix remains the major backer, ensuring continuity amid the changes.
The liveries reflect MSR’s evolution, replacing outgoing drivers Percat and Hill as part of broader 2026 grid shifts.
Partner Network: Building on Strong Foundations
MSR’s sponsor lineup emphasizes long-term relationships and new additions. Sherrin Rentals and Tyrepower anchor Le Brocq’s car, while Bendix leads Bates’. The team’s multi-year deal with Everything Fleet further strengthens its operational backbone.
Quotes from the Team
Jack Le Brocq – #4 Sherrin Rentals Camaro: “I’m thrilled to partner back with Matt and the team. We had great success together, especially our win in Darwin in 2023, and I love Matt’s relentless determination to drive the team forward. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the Sherrin Rentals Camaro.”
Zach Bates – #10 Bendix Racing Camaro: “The past couple of years have been amazing for me. Winning the Super2 championship in 2024, and partnering with a legend like Craig Lowndes in 2025. Now, I’m thrilled to take the next step by joining Matt Stone Racing. I’ve got plenty to learn, but I’ve got the right team behind me and I can’t wait to go racing!”
Matt Stone – Team Owner: “We have invested significantly in our people in the off-season to supercharge our growth and rise to the top. There’s a real buzz in our workshop this year, the whole team is determined to succeed on and off-track. I’m very pleased with the direction we’re headed as an organisation, and I can’t wait for racing to begin in Sydney later this month.”
With the Dunlop Sydney 500 set to open the season at Sydney Motorsport Park from February 20-22, MSR enters 2026 with renewed vigor. As Stone puts it, this is “an important year for our team,” poised to capitalize on its blend of experience, youth, and bold new colors.
