Supercars News: Cam Waters and Cam Hill both welcome newborns
Supercars drivers Cam Waters and Cam Hill (pictured) have kicked off 2026 with wonderful family news, each welcoming their first child during the off-season.
The back-to-back announcements have created a feel-good moment across the Supercars paddock. Waters will now balance new fatherhood with the demands of the endurance season, while Hill combines family life with his fresh start at Brad Jones Racing.
Congratulations to both families — welcome to the world, Mila and Miles!

Miles arrived last week via an unexpected “sunroof extraction” (a humorous reference to an emergency delivery), but the new arrival didn’t keep Hill from racing duties. Over the weekend he competed at the Canberra Festival of Speed, driving the historic OzEmail Ford AU Falcon that Brad Jones originally raced when BJR entered the championship 26 years ago.
It was Hill’s first time behind the wheel of a BJR car while he waits for his new Toyota Supra to be completed for the upcoming season. The AU Falcon was originally built by Longhurst Racing and later purchased by BJR. The team has since switched manufacturers — from Ford to Holden in 2008, to Chevrolet in 2023, and now beginning a new era with Toyota.
