Nick Yelloly ran third in the No. 93 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06, with Fred Vesti and Tom Blomqvist completing the top five.
The GTP class had stayed largely trouble-free until the fifth hour, when Marco Wittmann’s No. 25 Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 was collected by Brendan Iribe’s spinning No. 70 Inception Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. The contact occurred as the FIA Bronze-rated driver tried to creep forward, sending Wittmann to the garage for left-rear suspension repairs and costing the car 15 laps—the only significant GTP setback so far.
In LMP2, Dane Cameron led the way for AO Racing in the No. 99 Oreca 07 Gibson, ahead of Charles Milesi in the No. 11 TDS Racing entry.
AO Racing also set the pace in GTD Pro, with Nick Tandy heading a Porsche 1-2 over Thomas Preining in the No. 911 Manthey Racing machine. Pole-sitter Jack Hawksworth ran third in the Lexus RC F GT3 on his 100th IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship start.

Charlie Eastwood, meanwhile, led GTD in the DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.
