Track News: Pocono Raceway makes 10 Best track list for third straight year
Pocono Raceway has completed a hat trick, earning “Best NASCAR Track” honors for the third consecutive year in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards.
“The Tricky Triangle” was nominated by a USA TODAY expert panel in the “Best NASCAR Track” category, with fans casting votes over a four-week period throughout April to determine the winner.

Pocono Raceway topped a competitive field of 20 tracks, finishing ahead of Circuit of The Americas, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International and Richmond Raceway, respectively, to secure its third consecutive title.
“Winning this award once is special. Going back-to-back is an honor. But earning it three years in a row speaks volumes,” Pocono Raceway President Ben May said. “This recognition belongs to our fans, whose passion for ‘The Tricky Triangle’ continues to fuel everything we do. It also reflects our team’s commitment to delivering a first-class experience and the incredible support of our partners and community.”
That fan support continues to show up in record-setting fashion. Pocono Raceway has sold out The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA NASCAR Cup Series race for three consecutive years, producing the largest crowds at the venue since 2010.
The 2025 event sold out all frontstretch seating, premium seating, suites, infield camping and grandstand camping, while marking five consecutive years of a complete infield camping sellout. That sellout expanded capacity even further with additional camping inventory, pushing attendance beyond previous benchmarks.
The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA also drew fans from all 50 states and 13 international countries, underscoring its national and global appeal.
Pocono Raceway will set its sights on a rare “four-peat” with the opportunity of a fourth consecutive sellout of The Great American Getaway 400 presented by VISIT PA on Sunday, June 14. The weekend schedule also features the ARCA Menards Series 150 on Friday, June 12, and the MillerTech Battery 250 presented by KOA NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race on Saturday, June 13.
