BMW tests radical nose at Valencia

UPDATE The BMW Sauber continued to test the radical front nose they used for the very first time at Valencia on Tuesday. The horn-like flaps were fitted to Heidfeld's F1.08 for the first time yesterday and today the flaps were seen again as Robert Kubica drove out of the garage this morning.

Radical BMW nose wings

(GMM) BMW-Sauber showed off a radical front nose innovation whilst testing at the Valencia circuit on Tuesday. The unique solution, which was being tested alongside a more conventional piece at the Spanish venue in the hands of Nick Heidfeld, features 'horn'-like flaps that are elegantly tapered into the upper nose cone structure of the F1.08 single seater.
