Bourdais still waiting on F1 call
07/27/07 After winning the provisional pole position for Sunday's Champ Car race we asked Sebastien Bourdais if he had any update on his possible Toro Rosso F1 ride.
"Well, it's not Tuesday, so I'm waiting. There's nothing I can say. I'm just like you waiting, I've got if they were to announce it, I guess it would have been done already. So I guess they're still weighing their options and trying to figure out what's right to do," said Bourdais.
"I hope I get the chance but right now I'm just waiting like the rest of you. I think the situation (relationship) with the current drivers over there is bad and it has been bad since the winter when things were said in the media. I have that working in my favor but I just don't know.
"I do hope I get the chance because I have nothing else to prove over here (Champ Car) and it would be nice to be back in Europe closer to our families. I sort of need a new challenge, but we shall see. Staying here is an option."
