TV News: USA Motorsports Weekend TV Ratings (Update)
The TV Rating data for last weekend is now complete and our weekend TV Rating Data Table has been added below.
Note how poorly all the racing series scored in the all-important 18-49 year old age group, indicating their fan base continues to age out.

TV Ratings for NASCAR at Dover, IndyCar in Alabama, the NHRA in Charlotte and Formula E in Monaco.

NASCAR TV Rating Analysis
FS1 got 2.401 million viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race in Dover. No direct comparison to last year because that event was postponed to a Monday and only got 1/067 million. It was the most-watched of three FS1 races this season. This year marked the first time in three years that spring Dover race was run as scheduled.
Top five markets:
1) Greensboro – 3.43
2) Charlotte – 3.33
3) Norfolk – 2.58
4) Orlando – 2.14
4) Raleigh – 2.14
NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Dover drew a 0.53 and 883,000 on FS1 — up 30% from last year’s 0.41 and 674,000.
IndyCar TV Rating Analysis
The IndyCar race from Alabama drew a 0.45 and 763,000 on NBC, down 21% and 18% respectively from a year ago (0.6, 930K)
Amazingly, among national TV races w/o weather delays or NFL conflicts, this is only the 4th lowest viewership since IndyCar’s exclusive deal with NBC began. It was thought that the Team Penske cheating scandal would have brought more interest in the Barber race
NHRA
The tape-delayed NHRA finals from Charlotte led out of NASCAR with a 0.33 and 607,000, up from 2023.
Formula E
CBS scored a 0.38 and 627,000 for the Formula E Monaco “E-Prix” racing. No comparison data from last year.
