IndyCar News: Herta tops opening GP practice at Indy
Colton Herta turned a lap of 1m09.2863s with 3 minutes to go to top opening practice for the Sonsio GP on the IMS Road Course in his #26 Andretti Autosport Honda

Herta was just 0.0850s faster than Augustin Canapino’s Juncos Hollinger Racing Chevy.
Two other Chevy-powered cars were 3rd and 4th – Will Power was third in his #12 Penske Chevy, 0.0217s behind, while Rinus Veekay was 0.0264s behind in 4th.
Herta’s Andretti teammate Marcus Armstrong rounded out the top-5 in his #28 Honda.
