UPDATE NBCSN earned a final 0.36 rating for the ABC Supply Pocono 500 IndyCar race Sunday, up slightly from a 0.34 in 2018, but still horrible. 549,000 viewers tunes in but only 101,000 in the all important 18-49 age bracket. Last year 110,000 tuned in for the key bracket.
You need at least 1 million viewers for sponsors to look at you, hence NBCSN fails IndyCar week in and week out.
08/19/19 NBCSN earned a 0.44 overnight for yesterday's NTT IndyCar Series ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway, up 10% from a 0.40 overnight for last year's race.
The crowd was up slightly as well as you can see from the photo to the right.
