Wilson to run more 2015 races for Andretti? (Update)

UPDATE As you read here on AutoRacing1 nearly 4 weeks ago, and nowhere else, Justin Wilson will return to the wheel of the #25 Andretti Autosport Honda in this weekend's ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest. And while we were unsure exactly how many more races Wilson would do, the team announced today he will be in the car Wilson will be in the car for the remaining 5 races of 2015, starting with Milwaukee.

Justin Wilson preparing to practice at Indy

AutoRacing1 is hearing there is a very good chance we will see Justin Wilson in an Andretti Autosport Honda again in 2015. The 7-time IndyCar race winner of course contested last month's Indianapolis 500 for the team, where he finished 21st. Wilson also ran last weekend's Moscow ePrix for Andretti Formula E, finishing 10th, and has reportedly turned away other opportunities in IndyCar to stay with Andretti.

Now, what race(s) might we see Wilson run?

Hard to say for sure. But if you want our best guess, next month's ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest Presented By The Metro Milwaukee Honda Dealers is one probable event. Of course, Andretti Sports Marketing is the event promoter and with a strong Honda presence at the event, and Andretti wanting to provide maximum return and exposure for sponsors.

Anyway, look for Wilson in an Andretti car again this summer, and remember you read it here first on AutoRacing1.
