UPDATE This rumor is upgraded to 'fact' now. AR1.com can now confirm that Daly will indeed replace Moran in the #18.

Might Conor Daly be racing at Long Beach this weekend?

AR1 can confirm that Rocky Moran, Jr. broke his thumb yesterday, and will not the race #18 Dale Coyne Racing Honda in this weekend's Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

We also know that Dale Coyne Racing will field the #18 car this weekend, and while we cannot confirm who will be in the car, Conor Daly was in the DCR pit area with his helmet this morning. And we got word that Daly is in pole position to replace Moran for the weekend.
