NASCAR To kill off IndyCar at Mid-Ohio

Next year there is a NASCAR Nationwide race at Mid Ohio August 17. That's 13 days after the IndyCar race. Fans probably cannot afford to buy tickets for both, which means, as we have seen in the past, the IndyCar race will die a slow death.

If NASCAR bought IndyCar and had a vested interest in it, they would not schedule both races so close together. As we speak, IndyCar is the #1 enemy to NASCAR.
