Rossi tops IndyCar practice 3 at COTA

Andretti Autosport Honda driver Alexander Rossi is the first and only driver to get down into the 1m46s bracket in the final practice session for the IndyCars at the Circuit of Americas in Austin Texas.
Rossi's lap of 1m46.9148s on the harder black tires was enough to bump rookie sensation Felix Rosenqvist driving for Chip Ganassi racing off the top by 0.1388s.

Honda powered cars ran 1-2-3-4 with Graham Rahal and Ryan Hunter-Reay putting up the 3rd and 4th quick times.
Josef Newgarden was the top Chevy – 5th quick in the #2 Penske Chevy.
The session was red-flagged with 4 minutes left in the session when Marcus Ericsson lost control in Turn 19 and went nose-first into the barrier. He did not hit too hard and was not injured.
