NASCAR Extends Pact With Featherlite Trailers

Featherlite Trailers has extended its partnership with NASCAR through 2024.

As a part of the extended sponsorship agreement, Featherlite Trailers will continue its designation as official trailer of NASCAR.

Featherlite provides at-track support at NASCAR-sanctioned races each season. Featherlite and NASCAR’s relationship dates back to the early 1990s when Featherlite built its first race car transporter for owner Richard Childress and the late Dale Earnhardt. Today, Featherlite manufactures haulers for a large segment of NASCAR teams as well as builds the trailers that serve as NASCAR’s at-track offices and meeting spaces for race officials and other personnel throughout the race weekend, among many other functions.

“Our relationship with Featherlite dates back many years, and we’re excited to continue this valued partnership," said Elton Sawyer, vice president officiating and technical inspection, NASCAR. “We depend on Featherlite trailers every weekend throughout a season that takes us to all parts of the country. Featherlite’s support and reliability have helped us execute our events over the years, and we look forward to continuing the relationship."

Featherlite, headquartered in Cresco, Iowa, and owned by Universal Trailer Corporation, is the nation’s original aluminum specialty trailer brand and a leading manufacturer today of 53-foot race car transporters, as well as horses, livestock, car, recreational and other specialty trailers.

“Featherlite is very proud to continue our partnership with NASCAR," said Justin Queensland, vice president/general manager, Universal Trailer. “Our relationship with NASCAR over the last 25 plus years has been an integral part of our business. We look forward to continuing to expose race teams and their sponsors, as well as NASCAR fans, to our unique and innovative trailers as well as offer our commitment to this great sport for many years to come."
