IRL to switch to full Carbon Brake Rotor package

Rumor has it that IndyCar is evaluating a switch to carbon brakes and it tapped Target Ganassi to test the proposed layout at Mid Ohio recently. It is the first piece of testing for the controversial new for 2012 Dallara.

Target Chip Ganassi Managing Director Mike Hull commented after the test:

"Our Target guys had a great tune-up today at Mid-Ohio. Dario concentrated on the continued development of road track team technology. Scott worked today for the Indy Car Series on a full Carbon Brake Rotor package comparison that's under consideration for the future."
