ISC nearing sale of failed NY track site

ISC Vice Chair & CEO Lesa France Kennedy today said that the company is “nearing a deal to sell 676 acres of land in Staten Island, New York, on which it had hoped to build a track." ISC abandoned plans for the New York track in ’07. Kennedy declined to offer details of the sale, but said, “We do have a sale that we do think will occur in the near future." A company spokesperson said that any proceeds from the land likely would be “focused on debt reduction and improving company liquidity" REUTERS
