The wives of NASCAR drivers are about to become the center of attention for a change.

CMT (formerly known as Country Music Television) announced Wednesday that a new docuseries show called Racing Wives will debut early in 2019, featuring the wives of prominent NASCAR drivers, including Samantha Busch and Ashley Busch, who are married to brothers Kyle and Kurt, respectively.

The show will have eight, hour-long episodes that are unscripted and will highlight the behind-the-scenes lives of the wives who follow their husbands around the country for 36 races each year.

Whitney Ward Dillon — the newlywed wife of Austin Dillon — and Mariel Lane — a Monster Energy Girl and fiancée to Paul Swan, a rear tire changer for Dillon’s team.

Unscripted, according to CMT, the show will take place at their homes in Lake Norman, North Carolina. No specific premiere date was announced. USAToday
