Chase Elliott’s Team Penalized by NASCAR for Infraction at Texas

NASCAR suspended Chase Elliott crew chief Alan Gustafson for two races and docked Chase Elliott 20 points for window braces that did not keep the rear window glass rigid at Texas. Gustafson also was fined $50,000.

It appears they tried to copy the Stewart Haas Racing trick they used on Harvick's Ford a few races ago with the buckling rear window.
