Austin Dillon To Start In The Rear Of The Field In Atlanta

Daytona 500 champion Austin Dillon will start at the rear of the field after a rear gear change in the No. 3 Chevrolet for Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, a NASCAR spokesperson confirmed.

Dillon had qualified 25th for the race at the 1.54-mile track in Hampton, Georgia. In five starts at Atlanta, Dillon has an average finish of 25.0 with a best finish of 11th-place in the 2016 race.
