Danica Patrick to run 12 Hours of Sebring?

According to AutoRacing1.com sources Danica Patrick has been added to the entry list and roster for Andretti Green Racing at the American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring on Monday-Wednesday of next week (Jan. 22-24). The three-day test will serve as the first public running of the team's Acura-powered Courage for the Series' LMP2 class. Andretti Green is one of three teams — Lowe's Fernandez Racing and Highcroft Racing are the others — that are running under the Acura Motorsports factory banner for 2007.

It's not clear what role Patrick will play in AGR's sports car program for 2007. Bryan Herta will lead the team's lineup for the full season, his first in the Series since 2002. He will be joined by Dario Franchitti and brother Marino, and apparently Patrick as well at select events. Before making the leap to IRL stardom, Patrick competed in the American Le Mans Series for Prodrive and its Ferrari 550 Maranello in 2003 at Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
