Strong interest in Champ Car

It seems Champ Car is going to exceed expectations in 2007. President Steve Johnson told AutoRacing1.com, "My phone has been ringing off the hook this week with potential new teams inquiring about the new car and entering the series." Meanwhile Paul Gentilozzi has gone on record saying he will be back with two cars next year in fact right now all teams are expected back. We hear that Newman/Haas has sponsorship for both Bourdais and Rahal lined up and things are looking good for Junqueira too. We hear that Andrew Ranger will have Wal-Mart back in 2007, but we are not certain which team he will be back with.
