Cheever to drive in Indy 500

UPDATE This rumor is now 'fact' with today's announcement by Cheever Racing. 02/21/06 Eddie Cheever Jr. will return to the cockpit of an IRL car after a three-year absence, sources confirmed Monday night. Cheever, 48, will announce Tuesday that he will compete in at least the first four races of the IRL IndyCar Series season, including the 90th Indianapolis 500, in a car fielded by his Cheever Racing team.
