GM woes not expected to impact ALMS program

We hear that the impact of GM's recent layoffs likely won't affect Corvette Racing's ALMS program, which has won the last five GT1 team championships and three of the last four class titles at Le Mans, at least in the short-term. The Corvette program is a bright spot in the GM cache, as Corvette Racing is expected to field two new C6.Rs in the 2006 American Le Mans Series, starting at Sebring.
