F1 back to 12-lap format

Rumor has it that F1 will return to its old one-hour qualifying format in 2006 with each driver getting 12 laps. The FIA is thinking about requiring each driver to be on the track in the first 30 minutes, which otherwise would be void of many cars because the track gets faster as the session wears on and more rubber is laid down.
