NASCAR looks to reduce engine size

Rumor has it that NASCAR's next engine will be reduced in displacement from its current 358 cubic inches to 325 cubic inches in an effort to reduce HP and speeds. No word yet on whether it will be a pushrod engine or overhead cam. Teams have so many engines built to the current specifications it will cost them a lot of money to junk them all and build replacements. Some teams have as many as 90 engines.
