Russian GP getting close

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has claimed that a GP in Russia is not far away. The British billionaire has failed in his previous attempts to stage a race in the country, but during a brief visit last week for the launch of the new Jordan car, Ecclestone expressed his desire to make his dream a reality. "It will certainly happen," he vowed. "We would like it to be in Moscow, or if not here then in St. Petersburg. "I'm thrilled at the reception I have been given and what I have seen. There are hurdles to overcome but there is a will to get things done. "The response to the launch in Red Square shows what can be achieved."
