From the too funny department

Champ Car last week hosted the annual Promoters meeting in Indy. The meetings were at Conseco Fieldhouse, Home of the Indiana Pacers, with the final nights activities including a Pacers game against the Detroit Pistons…..Yes the two teams that had a brawl in their meeting in Detroit. Rumor has it that as the promoters entered the concourse of Conseco Fieldhouse they were greeted by two IRL cars…. And those that arrived early were also given a gift pack courtesy of the IRL….Yes, the Champ Car promoters were attending a Pacers game and it was IRL Night. Although we find this hilarious, let's hope Champ Car and its promoters learned something from the IRL promotion and apply it in arenas near their venues. Mark C.
