Williams to announce Heidfeld on Monday

UPDATE This rumor is now upgraded to 'fact' today. Williams has named Nick Heidfeld as its second driver alongside Mark Webber in 2005. The news was announced this morning in Valencia in Spain. More to follow on Hot News page. 01/26/05 Rumor has it that on Monday the Williams BMW team will name Nick Heidfeld to partner Mark Webber in 2005, with Antonio Pizzonia relegated to test driver after being beaten by Heidfeld in just about every head-to-head test they had. The fact that Heidfeld is German also pleases German engine supplier BMW.
