A veteran in the sport, Yeley has been competing in NASCAR since his debut in 2004, with Joe Gibbs Racing. Coming off of a solid 2015 season Yeley finished 12th in driver points, with 23 top-20 finishes and a fourth place finish at Talladega SuperSpeedway.
"I am excited to get back behind the wheel of a racecar this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway," Yeley commented. “It was tough not being at Daytona last weekend, but I am ready to get back out and make some laps. I can’t thank Mark Smith and the guys at TriStar Motorsports enough for the opportunity. Hopefully we’ll be able to get some decent finishes for the team."
"We are glad to have JJ in the No.14 starting in Atlanta", says Mark Smith, owner of TriStar Motorsports. "Yeley is a strong competitor and we look forward to what he can bring to our organization."
